A day off at QS foundation training today, however Mel & I got to have a session with Jack the donkey. Its very interesting to work with him. A donkey wont be "made " to do anything, so you need to really use your skills to get him to flex, soften & stay with you.

Lilys rat Velvet died on Friday night. She is survived by her sister Sugarlump & will be sadly missed!

Foundation training

Still up at QSSC at Jimboomba. .Yesterday was the first day of 3 weeks of foundation training . We are doing 4 sets of 4 days training with a day off in between each set, over this time we will take 5 horses each as far thru the programe as is appropriate to horse. We have a fantastic range of horses , arabs ,TBs, warmbloods, a fresian, & many in between all at different stages of education. What a fantastic laerning opportunity for us!
